Sarah Eyre is a a lens-based artist based in-between Manchester and Leeds, UK, whose practice recently has centred around the subject of women’s wigs, and their relationship to gender, identity and the female body. She recently completed a practice-led PhD at Manchester School of Art and have a BA (Hons) in Photography from Nottingham Trent University, and an MA in Documentary Film Production from the University of Salford. Her work has been published in Source Magazine, Hunger.TV, and Of The Afternoon, and been included in exhibitions at Dean Clough, Halifax, Paper Gallery, Manchester, London Art Fair, Manchester Contemporary, PS Mirabel, Manchester, South Square Gallery, Bradford, Cornerhouse & Castlefield Gallery, Manchester, Mid Pennine Arts, Open Eye gallery, Ashton Art Gallery, Mad Lab, Manchester, BBC Big Screen and Manchester Art Gallery. Her works on paper are represented by Paper Gallery, Manchester. Sarah collaborated with IORA and contemporary dancer Holly Rush to create the music video for single Find Me.
