Rookes is a genre-fluid writer-producer from Birmingham, now based in London’s Ten87 Studios. She is also the co-founder of women and gender minority studio talent network 2% Rising, and recent graduate of the 2020 MPG Production Scholarship and recipient of the HMUK Do It Differently grant.
